It must be not very clear for the people who start using the LED growth light.

It is easy to confuse customers because there are so many professional technical terms and marketing lies.

Do you know what the size of the LED growth light you need?

To achieve good productivity, there is an important reference, choosing the 50W LED growth light that can cover every square inch of space.

The most significant equipment in the growing greenhouse is the lamp. Why?

Light is a critical factor for plants. To require a high quality yields we need to provide high quality light for our plants.

Considering the energy efficiency, durability and full spectrum, the LED growth light is a best option for most of the growers.

However, customer are still feel overwhelming to find a suitable LED growth light even they know the method that choosing the LED plant  lights and the associated technical terminology.

To ensure what size of LED growth light, customer need to calculate the exact size of their plant growing space.

The amount of room for growth

When growing plants, there are at least 50 watts of LED plant light per square foot of growing space.

Customers want to cover the plants with light to grow more productivity and make the buds more powerful.

Therefore, customers need to calculate the square feet length x width) of the growing space.

Then they multiply this number by 50W to get the rough wattage of the plant light they need.

For example: customers have a growing space that is 2 feet long and 3 feet wide. It gives them (2ftx3ft) square feet of room to grow.  

Then they will multiply the number by 50W to get 300W. So in this case, they need an LED grow light with at least 300W.

How many plants can customers grow?

Generally speaking, each plant cultivated needs at least 1 square foot of growing space.

After sprouting, the growers like to place a plant in a large 5-gallon grow bag about 1 square foot in diameter, and then the plants will remain in this pot until it blooms.

What is the PAR output?

PAR, in simple terms, is part of the spectrum parameters that plants use for photosynthesis. It is an important factor. The higher the PAR output of a plant lamp, more light the plant receives.

Ideally, customers need to choose LED plant growth lights that output PAR in the above range.

It excludes the LED growth lights below 300W because they don't have enough power to produce the required PAR levels. The PAR levels below the range will not help the plants grow nicely as well.
