What does the tri-proof mean?

We generally refer to tri-proof as: waterproof, dustproof, and anti-corrosion.

Traditionally, different lighting environments require specific protective features such as dustproofing, moisture resistance, corrosion protection, explosion-proofing, and waterproofing. No single luminaire can perform all these functions simultaneously. Special luminaires that possess at least three of these protective features are conventionally referred to as tri-proof lights. Additionally, straight fluorescent lamps with similar protective characteristics are also classified as tri-proof lights.

Dustproof: In some special areas, there are dust-free purification requirements, which require that the lamp must be dustproof.

Moisture-proof: some lighting Spaces, high humidity, must be moisture-proof to avoid the electrical part of the lamp is damaged.

Corrosion prevention: In places such as chemical industry, the content of corrosive substances such as acid and alkali in the air is high, so there are anti-corrosion requirements for lamps and lanterns.

Explosion-proof: such as warehouses and other areas, to eliminate the possibility of flammable and explosive, it is necessary to explosion-proof lamps.

Waterproof: For example, outdoor lighting places, often may encounter rain and other washing, you need the lamp to be waterproof.

1. Tri-proof light manufacturing process

Special anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion materials, along with silicone sealing rings, are used to achieve the lamp's protective requirements. The circuit control board undergoes anti-corrosion, waterproof, and anti-oxidation treatments. Addressing the weak heat dissipation of sealed electrical boxes, a smart temperature control circuit specifically designed for tri-proof lamps reduces the operating temperature of the power frequency converter. For strong electrical isolation protection, the plug-in connectors have double insulation, ensuring the safety and reliability of the circuitry. Based on the actual working environment of the tri-proof lamp, the surface of the lamp's protective box is treated with Nano-spraying to prevent moisture and corrosion, effectively blocking the entry of dust and water.

Tube Housing: The tube housing is constructed with a T8 pure aluminum alloy exterior and a V0-rated optically flame-retardant PC cover.

Fixture Housing: The fixture housing is made of 100% pure polycarbonate, offering strong UV resistance. A UV-resistant V0-rated optically transparent PC protective cover is employed. The use of pure polycarbonate for both the housing and protective cover results in an impact resistance of 20J, exceeding that of ordinary tempered glass by a factor of 2 and plastics by a factor of 10. The interior is designed with special prisms for enhanced light output and ease of cleaning and maintenance. A silicone sealing ring ensures complete sealing of the lamp body, effectively preventing the ingress of dust, moisture, and water.

Glare Prevention: The transparent components are optimized based on advanced lighting optical principles, ensuring uniform and soft light distribution. The absence of glare and ghosting effectively prevents discomfort and fatigue among construction workers. Luminous Efficiency and Energy Saving: The adopted gas discharge light source offers high luminous efficacy and a long lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. With a power factor of ≥0.98, it exhibits high luminous efficiency and excellent light transmittance.
